(I’m not very knowledgeable about birds, but either a harrier, or an osprey.

Osperys are amazing. I love their designs, what they do. They’re like hawks to me, but as seabirds usually.

I thought what raptors are loud, live alone or in pairs, preferable mountainy habitat and have a dark colorscheme, possibly black hood. And these two came to my mind c:

It’s pretty much perfect. The Jackal Buzzard is what I’m leaning more towards. I read some more on it, and even listened to some calls. It has the funniest call for a buzzard, holy frick.

I’d like your opinion now! What bird would Dominik be? Does he seem like a sparrow to you? A finch, a jay, a seabird? A falcon, an eagle or a vulture? A type of Goshawk, or a chicken? Or is he a Red-tailed hawk in your mind, or another hawk completely? What would better fit his personality and style?

If you still want to send an ask and receive a bird representing your character, you may! I’ve got them all done right now, so I’m going to take a short break to do other things, but feel free to still do it!

Let’s do something fun! I’ve been wanting to do this for a few months now.

If you’ve noticed it, sometimes Dominik will blog a bird and in the tag’s it’ll say a character’s name and then “bird” after it. For example, Hectate’s bird is a nightingale, so he’d have “Hectate bird” as a tag.

Basically, Dominik picks mascot birds to represent the people in his life! He does this all the time, sometimes without the person knowing.

If you want to send an ask, I’ll try and go through each one and give your character a bird based on their personality or, generally, what Dominik thinks of when he talks to your character! If he doesn’t know your OC that well, or he hasn’t talked to them much, you’ll still get a bird assigned to you. It just may not be “that accurate”.

Want a bird? It may take some time but I’m willing to do every one I get.

Penguins do count! There is no avian, carrion or raptor bird I will not spam. Maybe I should do a spam every Friday. What do you think? That way I can take a week to get everyone’s spam requests in, and I can find the pictures and other forms of media needed.
